Listening to the Sabbath school lesson this week made me want to share this. I love the lessons by the way and so do my children. Jesus is the bridegroom and I always heard as well that we the Church are the bride. However Ellen white says otherwise in the great controversy in the chapter Jesus Christ our advocate in the paragraph starting with….”In the summer and autumn of 1844…
She says try church is represented as the guests and “If guests they cannot be represented also as the bride.”
Just an interesting point I had never noticed before!
